Pray for Egypt

The Christian population in Egypt has suffer for a long time. During the Mubarak regime, which was a dictatorship the Coptic Christians were a bit safe.

Now when the dictatorship is gone others will follow and it's very important who will follow.

As the situation is now, it seams like the Salafi extremists who are Muslims are attacking Christians and burning down churches..

In one article it says " is this the beginning to a Egypt Exudos"?

I really don't hope that it will be like that. WE have to keep Christians in our daily prayers

and I wonder if we don't stand up for them who will?

UN? USA? EU? who?

Bible study

Today we had a Bible study on the subject Learning To Live And Lead From The Front

'The Importance Of Living Mission-Focused Not Activity-Filled'

We briefly went through thel ast Bible studies that we had in the past
and then went on with today's study.

Introduction
There is no greater joy than living by faith and maximising the impact of our lives. One of our great challenges is to be able to honor God in all that we do and say so that we can live to the 'praise of His glory'!

We are constantly challenged to move from good to great and from doing our best to being our best. To accomplish this we will need to shift the manner of our living to being 'mission-focused' rather than 'activity-filled'.

In this study we are going to investigate and discuss three significant passages of scripture that clearly emphasize the importance of this kind of living.

'The Importance Of Living Mission-Focused Not Activity-Filled'

1) In Ephesians 5:15 we are wisely reminded, 'Be very careful how you live - not as unwise but as wise'. In the context (vs 8-17) what are the things that we are to be doing as a part of our mission?

2) In Colossians 4:5 we are wisely reminded, 'Be wise in the way you act toward others; make the most of every opportunity'. In the context what are we to be doing as a part of our mission?

3) In 1 Timothy 4:16 we are wisely reminded, 'Watch your life & doctrine closely. Persevere in them because if you do you will save yourself and your hearers'. In the context of this chapter what are the things that we are to be doing as a part of our mission?

Conclusion
Learning to live and lead from the front will indeed require us to understand the importance of living mission-focused not activity-filled lives! Let's determine to make this shift and satisfy the mandate we have been given!

It was great to see every one participate and the discussions went on forever it felt like.
Great testimonies and a great day over all

Special thanks to Pastor Terry!
