Olympic games

Our son Linus will very soon go to London and the Olympic games for a mission trip with YWAM. Many teenagers from all over the world will be going to do missions.

This is Linus first real mission trip and it will be a great experience for a 18 years old guy.

Please remember him in your prayers.

We are praying for safety, guidance and that the mission will have a great Impact on him and that YWAM will have a great Impact on the games..

Many souls can be saved during the games and lets pray that it will be a peaceful event and that the sports and the relationships are the things we will remember

A year ago I saw a debate on tv between one Christian British mathematician and philosopher of science named John Lennox and an evolutionary biologist named Richard Dawkins. The two seams to know each other very well and even if they sometimes really disagree on God's existanse they seem to have a rather good relationship. It is a bit pointless to have these debate since none of them want to change their oppinion no matter how wrong or right they might be. care, care not!?

Ive been out in the streets and in the big department stores and I can see people with crosses around their neck and other Christian symbols. I don't know if they have a faith or not but still they carry Christian symbols and they dare. I see people on the streets wearing Muslim symbols, I don't know how religious they are but still they carry it, with no problems. I see people wearing t-shirt or bags with the American flag, some wearing the Union Jack. I don't know how patriotic they are, but still they carry it, like a normal thing. I see people carry political symbols, I don't know how interested and how involved they are in to politics, but still they carry it. What I don't see though some wearing Jewish symbols or flags, why? They cant, they don't dare. isn't that scary!? Whats even more scary is that no one seams to care....

I saw that the famous business man Mr Percy Barnevik, known as the CEO at a company named ABB wrote a book with the title "I want to change the world" My first feeling was "Who asked him to change the world"? Why and in to what? The book is filled with names of well known business men, typical men stuff , power and money. Macho things... If you want establish something you have to ask yourself some questions, "Why you want to do it?", " how are you going to do it"?
