We all need our "own time and space" Some need a lot, some just little. I heard from some friends that a "man shed" is something that every man should have. A nice place to withdraw and spend time all alone. For many women spending time in the bathroom is "own time" , "quality time" Our son is 18 years old and pretty often he asks us to go out, take a walk by the sea just be out for some time so that he can have "own" time all by him self. He has his own room and can be there all alone but still, need to be "all alone" A time alone, solitude is very important. In Jesus life we can see that he did that rather often. Before Jesus chose the 12 disciples, Before he fed the 5000, In the wilderness in solitude with his father for 40 days. Solitude, a time with God.. Debate

A year ago I saw a debate on tv between one Christian British mathematician and philosopher of science named John Lennox and an evolutionary biologist named Richard Dawkins. The two seams to know each other very well and even if they sometimes really disagree on God's existanse they seem to have a rather good relationship. It is a bit pointless to have these debate since none of them want to change their oppinion no matter how wrong or right they might be. As a follower of Christ I support Mr Lennox but I have respects towards mr Dawkins. What stroke me the other day when my wife and I were at the bookstore was the many books written by Richard Dawkins where he really tries hard to convince us that there is no God. If you are absolutely confident that there is no God, why on earth do you have to write all these books!? If people don't believe there is God, why go so hard? care, care not!?

Ive been out in the streets and in the big department stores and I can see people with crosses around their neck and other Christian symbols. I don't know if they have a faith or not but still they carry Christian symbols and they dare. I see people on the streets wearing Muslim symbols, I don't know how religious they are but still they carry it, with no problems. I see people wearing t-shirt or bags with the American flag, some wearing the Union Jack. I don't know how patriotic they are, but still they carry it, like a normal thing. I see people carry political symbols, I don't know how interested and how involved they are in to politics, but still they carry it. What I don't see though some wearing Jewish symbols or flags, why? They cant, they don't dare. isn't that scary!? Whats even more scary is that no one seams to care....
