RELAX

When we think about rest and relaxation we very often think about laying down resting.

It is great to do as in the Spanish proverb: "How beautiful it is to do nothing, and then rest afterwards.!!"

It is great having lazy days, and summer really helps us to slow down, but!

Resting and to relax does not only mean doing nothing or little.
God desires rest for us because it does not come naturally to us. To rest, we have to trust that God will take care of things for us. We have to trust that, if we take a day off, the world will not stop turning on its axis.
Involve God in everything we do. Trust in him....

Like in 1 kings 19: 3-9
Elijah was afraid and ran for his life. When he came to Beersheba in Judah, he left his servant there, while he himself went a day’s journey into the wilderness. He came to a broom bush, sat down under it and prayed that he might die. “I have had enough, Lord,” he said. “Take my life; I am no better than my ancestors.” Then he lay down under the bush and fell asleep.

All at once an angel touched him and said, “Get up and eat.” He looked around, and there by his head was some bread baked over hot coals, and a jar of water. He ate and drank and then lay down again.
The angel of the Lord came back a second time and touched him and said, “Get up and eat, for the journey is too much for you.” So he got up and ate and drank. Strengthened by that food, he travelled forty days and forty nights until he reached Horeb, the mountain of God. There he went into a cave and spent the night.

God did not send an Angel telling Elijah to "Get up and serve me!, Get up and pray, Get up and work hard to please me. No The Angel said Get up and eat....

Listen to God!

God is our help, refuge and deliverer. God is always with us, even when things seem like they are crazy. Call upon God. Rest, Trust and Believe in God. Put your eyes and your focus on God, fill your heart and mind with the word of God.
Please be encouraged, And please, don’t forget to meditate on the scriptures and to put your focus on God. God is with you, He has promised to never leave you. He will strengthen you.
